ETS | Energy Management Technician

Our Energy Management Technicians are fully trained controls engineers.  Their role is to determine the current position of a building’s BMS, which once established forms the basis for which improvements can be made.

The objective is to identify the current operation of the existing BMS combined with the condition of the HVAC and plant equipment.  Energy waste can then be addressed by making improvements to operational inefficiencies. This may include controls adjustments or recommendations to the client on potential plant refurbishments or repairs.

These checks and systems re-tuning have a direct effect on the amount of gas and electricity consumed, and the associated financial cost of consumption.

An action plan is then drawn up based on the revised operating strategy; this provides the client with targets to reduce consumption.  This information is then used to monitor the effects of any changes implemented and project realistic pay back periods.

If you are experiencing problems with your HVAC or control systems or would like advice about your BMS, contact us on 0117 379 0850 and speak to one of our specialists today.
