Businesses large and small are achieving energy savings with the support from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). The EXEED programme (Excellence in Energy Efficient Design) offers organisations with grant support of up to €500,000 per year to invest in energy saving projects. The scheme provides funding towards implementing and certifying EXEED processes. This includes professional services and additional capital required.
The scheme is open to all organisations planning an investment in an energy project. This includes public and private sectors, new design projects and major energy upgrades of existing buildings and assets.
Stage 1: Project Selection and Approval
Working collaboratively with the client, our consultants will collate the necessary evidence and documentation required to ensure the project is appropriate for the EXEED programme. Once approval is received from the SEAI to proceed to Stage 1, a Letter of Offer will be given to the client outlining the required deliverables and milestone including the Project Execution Plan, Energy Balance Study and Energy Saving Registers. Once these are developed sufficiently to justify an investment decision, a Stage 2 grant application is submitted.
Stage 2: EXEED Final Offer
A Stage 2 grant application is made prior to the Implementation phase of investment in energy efficiency opportunities. Revision controlled outputs of the documents stated above are a requirement as demonstration of the following EXEED management process.
