New Business Unit Director (Ireland)

In line with our Corporate Strategy, we are pleased to introduce John Kane as our new Business Unit Director (Ireland).  John was previously the Head of Energy Engineering at Veolia, an international waste/water treatment/environmental and energy management company.

John has been in the engineering, control and energy market for over eleven years and has an impressive academic background including two Masters Degrees – MSc in Energy Management and an MSc in Aerospace Dynamics.

John has extensive experience in supply side (including LTHW/steam boilers, chillers, CHP engines and gas turbines, compressed air) and demand side (including BMS controls, lighting, insulation, M&V systems) projects and has managed a number of multi-million € energy engineering installations including renewables.

In addition to his extensive experience, John is the Chairman of the Energy and Environment Division of Engineers Ireland and is a Certified Energy Manager with the Energy Institute and a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland.

John will be heading our growth into the Irish market whilst remaining operationally active supporting our consultants on the field.  His extensive skill set and personal ethos ensures he is well placed at ETS.

Outside of work John enjoys hill walking, five-a-side football and keeping fit in the gym.

John commented:
