The annual Energy and Environment Division (Engineers Ireland) Minister’s lunch was a great success. Whilst he Minister was not able to make yesterday’s event, Deputy Maria Bailey T.D was on hand to present to a packed room.
Maria Bailey T.D. is the 100th woman to have been elected to the Dáil and is involved in a number of panels within the Oireachtas. As Chair of the Housing, Planning, Community, and Local Government committee, Deputy Bailey was able to address a number of key areas including future energy-related legislation.
Other committees which she is involved in include Members’ Interests of Dáil Éireann, Social Protection and the SO 112 Select Committee of Dáil Éireann.
