We are very pleased and excited to announce the arrival of Liam Rafferty joining ETS as our Commercial and Finance Director.
Liam’s experience and pedigree at senior level positions in the retail and commercial sector is substantial and extensive.
Liam has implemented a number of complex large business critical projects, including introducing Energy as a Corporate Vision, Policy & Strategy piece whilst implementing a complete Energy management system solution (to ISO 500001) on complex and large organisations.
His entrepreneurial spirit adds depth and breadth to our ambitious strategy, and brings a huge amount of board level gravitas and credibility.
Liam will be heading our commercial activities as well as our strategic business transformation to reinforce our service offering and untap our continued and rapid growth plans whilst gaining evermore market share.
Outside of work, Liam enjoys family time with his wife and 3 children near Holmfirth and is an avid sports fan playing golf, football, coaching junior rugby union and supporting Newcastle United, Newcastle Falcons and Darlington Mowden Park RUFC whenever he can.
Meanwhile, another key strategic appointment has been taking place at ETS. Our Associatedirector Phil Bilyard is becoming our operations director. Phil will be heading the management of our current strategic accounts and projects in both the retail sector and the property sectors. Phil’s team is formed by a dozen of multi-disciplinary and experienced consultants. The team is present in multiple regions including London, The South West, Yorkshire and Ireland and amasses over 250 years of cumulated engineering experience.
About both appointments, ETS Managing director Phil Warren shares his view:
“We are massively excited by the arrival of Liam as our new Commercial & Finance Director. Liam fits perfectly with our Company ethos and this appointment considerably strengthens our Management Team. I’ve known Liam now for a few years as an FD and as an MD, (he has employed ETS several times), and have always been impressed by his professionalism and enthusiasm. He sees clearly our potential and will contribute significantly to the ambitious growth strategy in place.
Congratulations also goes to Associate Director Phil Bilyard who has been promoted to Operations Director, responsible for all client facing activity. Phil has been central to our operations for seven years managing a number of major key accounts and we are pleased to be able make this appointment rewarding his hard work and diligence.
Moreover, what is really great and demonstrates our Company character is the fantastic support both Phil and Liam receive from the wider ETS teams.”
Liam also commented:
“I am delighted to be joining the newly created Board of Directors at ETS as Commercial & Finance Director – the clear vision, strategy and plans for further and sustained levels of ambitious growth and expansion, together with an extended service offering, mean that these will be challenging, enjoyable and exciting times for all the business and those concerned.”
