Project Scope
ETS has worked with Homebase since 2016 to provide technical support for 250+ stores across the UK and Ireland.
Acting as the controls engineers for Homebase, our Technical Energy Centre supports multiple stakeholders including Store Managers, Area Managers and Maintenance Engineers to resolve various BMS / controls issues.
Our TEC team is able to remotely dial into stores BMS to improve comfort conditions by adjusting heating and lighting controls. Where issues are localised at site, our Technical Engineers provide additional consultative support to determine if Maintenance Engineers need to be deployed.
Key Challenges
Our specialist knowledge of building automation and controls is an important aspect to effectively supporting the Homebase estate. Our experts are experienced in managing various operating systems and BMS platforms which enable us to quickly diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
Added Value / Achievements
Since our appointment, response times and resolution to issues have significantly improved. Contractor management has also improved which has contributed to reducing capital expenditure on maintenance and call out fees.
