St Monica Trust – Energy Management support

Energy & Technical Services have worked with St Monica Trust since 2017, to provide energy management services for their portfolio of multi-residential care homes. Services provided through our Technical Energy Centre (TEC) comprise monthly data reporting and data interpretation / analysis as well as ad-hoc technical consultancy services on various energy efficiency projects. The mix-use estate covers 5 sites across Bristol and North Somerset which include leisure facilities, restaurants, 200+ flats, communal areas, offices and care facilities.

Challenge

As a mixed-use estate covering a range of property stock including a Grade II Listed building, each site has to be provided with a bespoke solution appropriate to its use when considering potential energy saving initiatives. In order to interpret the energy data correctly, our consultants must have a good understanding of how the buildings are used and the energy efficiency of each building type.

In addition to providing energy management services, Energy & Technical Services supports St Monica Trust in providing engineering and technical consultancy services, along with BeMS support and energy efficiency interventions. Our TEC team work closely with client representatives to propose and evaluate new products that will improve energy efficiency across the estate.
